Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2018

Marking the end of the Mediterranean yachting season, Les Voiles de Saint Tropez will be back on 29th September 2018 for its 20th edition.
Close to 4,000 sailors and more than 300 sailing yachts will gather in St Tropez in early autumn for an action-packed programme of competitive racing and lively social events.

Throughout the seven-day meet, a beautiful fleet of both modern, classic and Wally yachts will compete in a series of sailing courses off the French Riviera coast for the coveted Rolex Trophy.

Among the traditional yachts competing will be a selection of the J Class. Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez will be the final of four major meets of an international, points-based championship for the fleet, taking place throughout 2018.

Nine of the sublime J Class yachts are still racing today, including the 39m/128ft charter yacht ENDEAVOUR, the 37m/120ft charter yacht ‘Shamrock V’ and the 40m/131ft charter yacht RAINBOW, and it’s hoped as many as possible will be able to make the Mediterranean fixture.

Celebrating its 20th year, the 2018 regatta will not be alone in marking a special milestone. A fleet of fabulous Fife yachts, which sport the world-famous dragon, will be welcomed at the event to commemorate the yard’s 130th anniversary.
